Our team of special education teachers were hard at work before the Thanksgiving break. The students also responded well to the work that was expected from them. Luckily there were some brain breaks in between. Fourth grade enjoyed a field trip to Rivertown, and fifth grade went to NOMA. Learning about space exploration was exciting and kept our students engaged. We do hope all of our students and their families enjoyed their Thanksgiving together. We would like to thank all of the families that sent in can goods and other item to help those families in need.
With that said, we will begin our month of December ready to learn. Through guidebooks, CKLA, and Eureka math our teachers are planning to prepare our students. We ended November on some pretty awesome topics so we can’t wait to see what is in store for us next. We would like to mention homework helpers were sent home to guide parents in helping their children. We hope you found them very useful.
December will also bring some more fun activities for our students as we prepare for the Christmas holidays. Please remember class dojo is an excellent tool to keep close communication with your child’s teacher. If you have not signed up, please do so. For further instructions, contact your child’s teacher. Lastly, we would like to remind parents to take advantage of my school bucks. This is a way of paying online for fees, field trips, or other activities.
Thanks to all of our supportive families!
